The Gilding Kit comes with 3 silver mirror effect leaves measuring 14 x 14 cm, as well as a 20 ml relief gilding paste. To achieve professional results, first apply the gilding paste on a clean and dry surface (such as wood, plaster, glass, metal, or cardboard) to create dimensional or flat details. Once the paste is dry and tacky, use the included mirror effect sheets by transferring them to the gilded area using a rigid object like a fingernail. To ensure the longevity of your gilded artwork, it is recommended to apply a varnish to protect it from metal oxidation. This kit conforms to ASTM D-4236 standards and is AP certified.
