Vitrail's Transparent and Opale ultra-gloss finishes offer subtle shades and added depth on fine art surfaces like canvas and other non-porous materials. Originally designed to bring the beauty of stained glass art to everyone, these ready-to-use, alkyd oil-based paints have become a unique medium for artists working with Mixed Media. You can use brushes and droppers to apply the color, or simply drip, spatter, and pour directly from the bottle. For stained glass effects, combine with Cerne Relief and Self-Adhesive Lead Strips. Vitrail paints are available in 36 solvent-based colors, with 26 intense and brilliant Transparent colors, and 10 bright and covering Opale opaque colors. Each color comes in 45 ml bottles, with certain colors also offered in 250 ml bottles. Compliant with ASTM D-4236 standards, these oil-based liquid paints dry to a glossy, uniform finish.

To create unique effects, mix Vitrail colors together or combine with Fantasy Prisme, Moon, or Ceramic paints. For stained glass effects, use in conjunction with Cerne Relief and Self-Adhesive Lead Strips. Apply with brushes and droppers, or drip, spatter, and pour the paints directly from the bottle.
