Pebeo Setasilk Silver Gutta 20ml Tube

The Setasilk Water Based Guttas have a thick consistency and are used for the Serti technique to create outlines with pearlescent colors. They can be applied directly onto silk fibers from the tube or nozzle, or with a pipette and Gutta nib. These guttas form a barrier to the color and are iron-fixed to allow for washing, except for the colorless Gutta which leaves a white line after washing out. They are opaque and pearly in appearance, meeting ASTM D-4236 standards. The colored water-based guttas are sold in 20ml metal tubes with a nozzle in 5 assorted colors. They are suitable for use on all types of silk and air dry in 30 minutes. After ironing on the reverse side of the fabric for 3 to 4 minutes, the Setasilk Water Based Guttas are fixed and can resist hand washing and dry cleaning after 48 hours. Direct application from the tube or nozzle, or with a pipette and Gutta nib, is recommended for best results.
